    anyone know the part number for this steering joint?
    what it's called?

    it'st the bit that joins the column to the rack with a push splined joint one end and a plate with 2 bolts the other... i've knackered the splines on it being a buffoon!

    it's for a 3rd gen

    also, how do you get the column out? is it a UJ in the cab or something more sinister?

    I think it is the intermediate shaft. This might help Matt.

      nice one!

      couldn'd see how it came out cos it bends inside the bulkhead!.... think i got it now.... fingers crossed i just have to take off the "column hole covers"

      then hammer it together real hard!
