ok this has been getting to me for ages now, i start the surf and she is fine, apart from when it is wet she mists up and can take up to 30 to 45 mins to clear....

air con and a tissue helps but turn off the air con and it is back to ssquare one. i washed the engine and she didnt do it??? any links there i dunno?!?!?

not too much of a problem but when in the woods and lanes i would like to see them infront of me!!

    any help/advice greatly appreciated

Have you got any air blowing onto the screen? If you've got the pushbutton heater controls it's a common problem that the heater levers don't always move properly. Check out the side of the heater by the drivers feet and you'll find the (white) levers - it's the one nearest the bulkhead that needs a helping hand.

      wet wet wet

Ihad the same problem with mine awhile ago......
The problem was it seemed not to have any air flow onto the screen...! I had to make the air channel upwards by using cardboard..... it was as if the insides were missing..?!
It maybe dashboard off for you and a blue peter job like mine......
Always assume the worst.....Anything less is a bonus!!

Do you have wet carpets or anything like that ?

Yep, it'll be the white plastic linkages down by the foot rest that are sticking.

Ignition on, blowers on, press button for feet blast, get out of truck, look down by foot rest at linkages and at the same time press button for screen demist. You should see the levers move and get stuck half way and you'll be able to 'help' them into position.

If they don't move at all, then the operating cable is kinked or broken.

Also, make sure the button for fresh air is pressed, not the recirculating button.

Up behind the glovebox is the cable operated flap, sometimes the cable can kink and the flap doesn't open/close properly.

                thanks mate

                EDIT:

couldn't see the cable, but i cleaned all the white grease off and give it all a good spraying with PTFE...seems to have sorted it
