  • New kid on the block, with shocker issues!

Hi all, I am a new person here.. I have recently acquired a 1992? surf ltd 2.4 auto, and it needs shocks all round. Is this a fairly easy job? are there any known issues removing/refitting shocks? many thanks in advance!

No major problems, it's one of the easier jobs on a Surf. The fronts are easier to change than the rears, which can be a bit fiddley regarding the top nuts which you can't acually see.

If you're replacing the shocks with non standard items, just tape the solenoids (hard/soft adjusters that sit on top of the standard shocks) up out of the way.

p.s. are you a zider drinker?
