              Yeah Matt that's correct. To avoid confusion I always prefer to refer to the 3Ltr head as 1KZ-T(E) or use 3Ltr (or 3.0Ltr) and 3L or 2.8Ltr for the other head.

              Not much info gained from this thread yet but I will say it's not boring.

              More info added to the Aussie thread if you are interested. Seems like a large range of part numbers has now been reduced to just three to cover the 2L-TE engines.
