ok, while off roading at the weekend i started to notice a loud grind every so offten when on full lock. thought it had to be the cv joint.
on the way home and ever since, (2wd) there is no grinding or ticking noise at all.
i thought that even in 2wd the cv's were turning, so why has the noise went away. is it just because they are not under as much stress.

o; and another thing, why do millners and roughtrax only list a outer cv joint?
whats inside the inner cv boot?
