as my last thread said. oil everywhere!!!!! after investigation i discovered it was leeking from the prop shaft end. i ordered a seal from milners. after it arrived i pulled the lot apart to see that the seal that milners sent me didn't exist behind my companion flange. there just seemed to be a seal set in the diff casing. the seal i was sent did fit well on the companion flange. not sure what to do i ended putting the new seal in what looked like the right place, reasembling the bits and took it for a drive. still leeking
is this the wrong seal for my truck?? do i need the one set into the diff casing? please help. need truck for work!! have put new breather on.
see pics. No. 1 = existing oil seal type thing
No.2 = oil seal sent by milners
No.3 = oil seal on flange
