Dave, you haven't deleted the file you downloaded, have you? Just checking it now, and it may merely be a permissions thing. Are you running 2000 or XP? Trying it on 2K, and it appears to be assigning the wrong permissions, so should be fixable. (Also double checking the copy on the server). Apologies.
No problem!! I wasn't implying there was anything wrong with the file, just my lousy internet connection!!
I just couldn't face trying it again, only to fail again!!

I wasn't taking it the wrong way Dave. I just hate the thought that it might be something at this end causing your headache. I'm just as finnicky with myself as I am with other people.

Running XP, by the way!
I'm just checking it now. Have downloaded it directly using I.E, and it appears to be fine with the copy I've downloaded. (Used I.E to keep the conditions same as a normal download). Any chance you could just try another zip programme on it to just check it's not something along software lines that's causing the trouble?
(When you've installed it, select decline on that last button that asks if you want to install some other piece of software). I'd like to just make sure there isn't a reproducible problem, if you don't mind being a guinea pig?
BTW, if that fails, P.M me your address and I'll get a disc with it on posted off to you.

OK, I CAN see the files using that unzipping prog, but it still has a missing or corrupt header.
Gotta be a hiccup with my connection..
By the way.. Just went to think about downloading it again, and it said I needed a password to go to the site!!

Yup. That was me. I just locked that directory whilst I was double checking everything, just in case it was a problem with the zip file itself. (Didn't want some other unlucky sod getting an iffy file as well). It's unlocked now.
Andy, it's the 2002 version. (Can't find the elusive 2006 one).
It timed out on me ! I know it got past 600Mb cause i checked b4 i went to bed.
Over 1 Gig, actually. Click on the link again to download it. Both IE and Mozilla/Firefox cache downloads, so it should resume from where it left off, unless you've flushed it's cache. (BTW, you timed out on it ).
Have hidden the complete zipped 1.55G file, , so the separate files are the download now. (Mark, that url you used before is still active, just not listed on the index page, if you still want to try resuming the download). Largest database zip is under 300M each, so should be easier for those with errant software or connections. (Of which I seem to have found everyone, so far).
BTW, Nev, you don't mind me putting the url for that post on your forum in that readme file above, do you? If you'd rather I didn't, let me know and I'll edit it out.

Hi Matt, thanks for posting this program, much easier to install than the old version.
Have problem in finding relevant codes for my model - LN130 GKMQT. I think i tried all options but couldn't list it as Model.
Went back to old version and found that in Initial Setup, the Current CD Area Version was set to Japanese. I changed the new version setting from European to Japanese and then was able to see a different set of Model Codes including mine.
Unfortunately, when set to this the images have Japanese writing, so no further forward.
Have you had similar problems or is your model listed in European?

The Surfs are in the Japanese db, the 4-Runners are the European version. Can't say as I've noticed the writing being in Japanese, though. From the small amount I've looked at so far, it's all been in English.
I see what you mean now. The list in the right hand pane that's in English, if you click on the item you want and press F10, it comes up fine, it's only the basic diagrams that are in Japanese. All the codes and everything else are in English.
Thanks Matt, starting to get my head around this system! I've printed out copies of the Basic Diagrams in English to help me work out what areas to head into next when using the Japanese version.
Hopefully I can now go back to my local dealer with some part numbers, instead of him telling me they don't have them!

That thread that Nev posted is helpful with regards to getting used to the programmes strange workings. Well worth reading.

Some of the dealers do tend to be unhelpful plonkers. If you have a Pentagon dealer anywhere near, they are usually more helpful, (if they're all like ours).
Hope you don't mind me asking, did it all download okay? This bunch on here have made me paranoid about whether the servers working okay. Just wanting to double check seeing as you've completed the process successfully. Cheers.
