Guess who forgot to wipe all his door seals down with WD40 this year?
(This wasn't even the Surf, this was the other car, with remote door locks)

Couldn't open the **** door this morning cause it rained last time I used the car and the darned thing's frozen shut

    Don't forget folks, winter's here.

Just get a jug of cold water and pour it around the edge of the door then open, works every time.

Also, don't waste money on de-icer for your windows, a jug or bowl of water will clear them quicker. Switch the wiper on as soon as you've chucked the water over though.

It has been suggested that furniture polish with beeswax is a better option because at least if it gets onto your clothes you can wash it out, but WD40 is another story.
Regarding water on the windscreen reminds me of a time a few years ago when i decided to sue the garden hose to put water on the windscreen. Gave the hose a good tug, heard a cracking noise and suddenly we had two hose pipes. Never again!
