  • Getting ready for throwing the match in???

Hi folks, I’m hoping someone will be able to give me some pointers, my Surf keeps coming up with the same ECU codes which are 8 & 12 but I can’t find anything wrong with what they say 8 - Intake air temperature sensor / 12 - Timer control valve (Pump), can anyone please shed some light on what might be the problem, as I now have been having problems for nearly a year and getting fffffrustrated and very fed up.

    Cheers,
    SIMON

Have you tried disconnecting the batteries for 20 mins to reset the ECU?

If you have, are you still getting the same codes?

What exactly is the problem with your truck?

oh, and there's no need to shout, I can still hear you, even if I am in Wales and you're in Nottingham!

      The Problem

The problem started with a cracked cylinder head, the codes have been reset and still the same codes come back only I can't find anything wrong, when the head was changed the vac pipes got mixed up so still not sure if they are on in the right place, checked all electrical connections, OK, but running out of patients fast now.

What's needed is someone who knows what to look for around the Nottingham area.
