Got a 1990 ssr ltd as well and sticker on door recommended 28psi but I found the tyres squealed to much at this pressure.
Now run at 33psi but as suggested above anywhere around this pressure is OK, just down to how you like the ride/handling etc.

yep,i'll add to that.i've just had some done at a surf importers,they always recomend 30 psi.these were for some jap dunlops,nothing written on the sidewalls re pressures.

I run 40 PSI in my 31X10.5X15s.Different brands and types of tyres will vary in the ideal pressure.Choose a certain pressure then keep an eye on tyre wear.

Same as Koi (allthough 3.0 SSRX) I run BFG A/T's @ 33psi. If I run them at 28 I can push the front tyres when turning out of junctions - not good as it goes straight on.

Not to date I haven't, Roger (Gamedawn) does, I think he lowers his to
18psi or there abouts, he runs BFG AT's. In hindsight at the last pit meet if I had lowered my pressures (31 x 10.5 x 15 BFG MT's @ 33psi) I would probably have made a bit more light work of some of the hills.

You can generally go down to 12-15ish, before you start to have trouble with the beads coming off when pushing on the sidewalls in ruts. If you run beadlocks then 8-10 or lower for rocks, will get you amazing grip.
