Wheel studs

Just checking my wheel nuts with a torque wrench and one on the front just sheared ...got some coming to replace it (6 might do them all) ....Therefore the question is how easy are they to do?

BUGGA! You need to remove the whole front hub assembly then split the disk from the hub plate tap out the old one & fit the new one.

Why not! keep the good ones as spares.

YES and get some for the rear as well ....Its probably due to the fact that i keep changing between my road tyres and the mud pluggers

I do the same as you m8, but I have a set of wheel spacers, the 32mm ones, so have stud extentions fitted onto the original studs.
When I bought them I paid for spare ones as I have snapped them too with changing the wheels over all the time. Its a lot easier than changing the original studs. And they give a wider stance which looks better.

Thats the plan and saving up for the spacers at the mo after the Es9000 i need

anyway took it apart today in half an hour hopefully the studs arrive tomorrow

Well all sorted now.....Thanks Marky for the info , the job wasn't as bad as i thought it woud be and only took us a hour to put it back together
