        Pop.

Wouldn't bother about the Oil pressure sensor, Toyota one is perfectly OK. The problem with the Water temp sensor is that it is too high and iff the water level drops then it doesn't get any water around the bottom of it so it reads incorrectly.

I would suggest either a hose mounted one on the bottom radiator hose or one mounted in the bottom of the radiator bottom tank, hard to get at I know but if that one doesn't read correct then you got big problems anyway.

        Cheers

Just a thought, maybe for "ease" you could use one of the the drain plug tappings to fit the sensor. This way you wont need to do any major mods. Only disadvantages are it could get sludged up being this low and it would be disturbed if you had to drain the system. Just a thought. Looks to me like some one has head paranoia. If I were you I would give the engine to a specialist firm and have front middle and rear engine temp gauges fitted(Just kidding).

You could put a 'T' in the original hole, then put a sensor in each end.

              extra sensors

              Thanks POP .
As for oil pressure sensor being Ok on a recent trip to North Wales there I was honking up the M40 when my oil pressure needle dropped slowly to zero....Oh my god! plus a few more expletives....engine still felt smooth so off power and slow down to wait for the inevitable...the pressure slowly rose to normal! stopped to check oil level and all was fine plus no sign of leak anywhere...
Started motor oil pressure normal drove all way to Chester then again pressure dropped to zero no difference in engine tone or smoothness, oil level checked again no problem.
On the way home it happened again so I must have either a dashboard fault or a sensor fault but boy was it an unneccessary experience.
              How much!
