ball joint

one of my ball joints is creaking like a madman.

it is very hard to tell if its upper or lower, so, is there any way of telling which one it is or is it a case of doing one and if that doesnt work change the other one?

Are they greasable?

Believe it may just be a case of seeing if any move too freely

The 2nd Gen ball joints can be greased. You just remove the small bolts that blank off the grease points, one at a time, and fit temporary nipple to insert the grease (Molydbenum-disulfide lithium base chassis grease NLGI No.1 or No.2).
