Ticking sound.

Hi everyone started with a new noise in the back off side rear bulk head ,below the window ,after the filler cap in front of the light housing.Constant ticking can hear outside and in with engine running Idont think its a bomb and everything still working fine.Any ideas chaps many thanks in advance.

possibly the solenoid on top of the rear shock is faulty, if you still have the originals fitted.

Ticking sound.

Thanks Vince shocks are ok just past mot.The sounds coming from the side of the body between plastic liner and outer shell in the region of one of the speakers near where the tool kit is stowed. It sounds like an electrical ticking ,pump ??latest is it carries on with engine and ignition off

Theres an amplifier behind there for the speaker, the same on the other side. I would have thought there would be no power to them with the ignition of though.

Makes sense.

because sound system is set up to run without ignition on, and its quiet when the radio/cd player is off sorted thanks,still havent looked behind panel yet.Daft place to put amps ?? though.Tried it a few times now and its sound system orientated,weird many thanks ALZ
