  • Fight the garage babble: "can't adjust the alignment" ?

The misses picked up my surf from garage 2 weeks ago after I put it in for new tyres and alignment. I've just found the paperwork showing that they didn't sdjust anything! Sheeeee says that they told her "the numbers were a bit out - but 'you' can't adjust the alignment". I've read something about rusted up adjusters so maybe that was the problem. Seems that they had the right figures for 2nd gen.

Just wondered where the 'adjusters' were so I've got some facts when I go back in ....

    Any other suggestions gratefully received.

    Cheers, Keith
    where's this bit go then?

Its the tubes for setting the toe in/out. They can get rusted up, I always free them off first before going for a tracking.

Don't be afraid to use a little heat, lots of WD40 and BIG pair of stilsons!

    This is the bit.....
