  • tyre pressures - 35psi?

I had the tyres at around 26 to 30, but they looked very squashed, so due to the dry sunny weather yesterday I upped them to 35 all round.

Typically today it pi**ed down and I'm sure I felt the back end squirm a couple of times.

What tyre pressures are typical, and would it affect my fuel consumption?

I believe my truck has slightly oversized BFG (radial AT) tyres because the speedo under-reads (reads 50 at a real 60mph).

26 is a bit low.......try them around 33 then adjust up or down till you find a number you feel right with and doesnt give uneven wear.....
