Bronze bush

Ok how do I get the bronze bush out of the hub????? and with what.

There are 2 cut outs that let you get a nice fat punch on the edge of the bush, through the middle of the hub from the outside of the car, and give it a solid clumping.

Now, getting the new one in straight is another matter!!

I have an old outer CV joint that I put the bush over the spindle, then slide it in place from the inside of the hub, and hammer it in. This way it goes in square.

There isn't a lot of room to swing the hammer. But it works.

and another trick for getting bushes into interference fit holes is to put the bush in the freezer overnight
