    hello folks new to the forum,just wondering what models come with an lsd as std in the rear axle as i've been told there are two different ones .ones wide and ones narrow axle..........

    mines a 93, 2.4 ssrg with and lsd in the back axl as to narrow or wide i havent a clue, just know it works well.

        there are wide and narrow surfs, but it's just the wheel arch extensions (or lack of them) that are the difference.

        All other components, including the axle, are the same.
        It just does, OK?

              ok i'll come clean,i'm after an axle for my rally car,and as these axles come with a slipper as std it would be a cheaper alternative than buying a an axle that wa made for my car.............sorry to sound like a butcher...............

                        yeh they used the atlas but there going for silly money now. so it's time to improvise ,got this info off a freind in NZ

                          the best of luck with it, cannt think of any other vehicle with a similar axle that will swap over.

                              Any 2nd Gen trans/axle code that ends with a 5 is an LSD.
