Not sure if this is relevent. I have a '93 3.0 td. The chassis and model numbers both start "KZN130" but the engine number is "1KZ-TE".

it's a KZN130 chassis with a 1KZ-TE engine.. that's a second gen 3.0l
the 3rd gen is a KZN185 with a 1KZ-TE engine
(same as the land cruiser colorado/prado)
