Wiper Linkage Help

Hi i have a 2nd gen 1991 2.4td and the drivers windscreen wiper is not working and i think i will need to replace the linkage, i am at present using only the left wiper, which is turned up to clean most of the screen.
Question how do i get to the bugger and is it an easy job to remove to fix.

I presume you've checked the tightness of the nut on the drivers wiper? Sounds like something has become detatched or loose on that side.
