3rd Generation roof cross bars

I am sure I saw details somewhere on the site describing fittings to fit existing factory roof bars. I think they were thule with fittings to go inside the bars from somewhere else. Anyone remember/know where the info is?

Second question: Anyone know if/where/how to blank off spare wheel (back door) mounting holes so that it doesn't look like c**p????????
