Auto gearbox
Hello everyone
This my first post on the new site (looks really good, wel done) My auto box started changing from 3rd into over drive at just over 30mph, and causing the vehicle too struggle. Well the waranty had expired, but the dealer offered to get the repair done (what a cracking bunch they are), anywhere first garage took the box apart and made the problem worse, secound auto box specialist has taken the box apart, rebuilt it and the problem still exists. They plugged it into they're computer and there are no faults showing up. Now they are trying the ECU, so the daeler is taking another surf (same model etc,etc) down to them on the back of a lorry so they can swap the ECU too see if that is the cause. Has anyone had similar problems? Oh and the vehicle has been in the garage for a month now. The dealer has loaned me another surf (G plate manual) while mine is being done, and its the worse heep of crap that I have had the mis-fortune to drive, would'nt pull a greasy doley out of bed.
