  • Suspension problem

This is my first venture into your forums, so bear with me if this has been brought up before. My SSR-G 1996 Surf with 48,000 miles on the clock has been owned by me for over a year, and it has been brilliant in every way, except when passengers complain about the wobbly ride, I don't notice behind the wheel. Can anyone suggest a solution, Springs or Shocks to improve ride quality, or should I leave the wife at home!!

Hi Will, if it's wobbly, it's most likley shocks.

Cheers Bushwhacker, I'm not to sure because the surf has just sailed through another MOT 2 weeks ago, would the shocks have passed, or could the springs/shocks be tired. It certainly does not sag or anything. Any more information would be most helpful

The shocks may have passed the MOT, but from what you're describing, it sounds like they are very 'tired'.
New shocks will make a hell of a difference than the standard ones anyway.
