I have just read everything on there. Jesus Christ! If that was an 'easy' swap then what the hell is a difficult one?? Did you see how many expensive engine parts and casings this guy trashed??? Must have more money than sense. 500bhp out of a Surf he is absolu.......ooh hang on a minute, there is one parked outside....10 mins and a pair of pliers I could be in and out and no would know.....

a swap is something im also considering...but im looking at doing the lexus quad cam.

but as an idea, has anyone done the 4.0 litre landcruiser into the hilux, or even another diesel....seeeing as thats what mine is at the mo, an oil burner
