  • Rear Heater Pipes.

Has anybody had to change the rear pipes, and if so what material did you use, just been crawling under mine doing the steering rack bushes(about time they were done), and noticed that the pipes are corroded.

Last time i looked, mine were rubber hoses, i think. Tried to disconnect them to flush out the rear heater once, but they wouldn't come off the short metal stumps that stick thru the floor! (these the bits you're referring to?)

It has a rubber section for about 18 inches and then metal under the footwell up the bulkhead.

So it does. All the paint or plastic covering, whatever it is, is peeling off on mine.

Also discovered that my back box is now in the advanced stages of rusting thru. doh.

Did think of that, but it might be a problem bending it.
