Can anyone tell me the size of the Exhaust Bore on a 2.4 Surf. I have a 3.0 SSR -X 2nd Gen, and the Exhaust Bore is 54mm. I bought a Chrome Exhaust Tail Pipe from E-bay - it said that it fitted Petrol and Diesel Imported Hilux Surfs with up to 54mm Bore. To me, that says that the Tail Pipe must have at least a 57mm Bore to be able to fit over an Exhaust with a 54mm Bore. Needless to say, it didn't fit my Exhaust because the ChromeTail Pipe had a 54mm Bore - same as mine!! The Seller has kindly agreed to give me a Refund on return of the Tail Pipe - However, he tells me that it fits his imported Surf, and he has sold a few with no problems which I do not doubt. Is there a difference of Exhaust Bore between the 2.4 and 3.0 Litre versions. Or may be a difference between Generations - does anyone know?
