clonking is usually worn CV joints, grinding....wheel catching on full lock?
..might be hub problems, do you have any 4x4? or is it just jumping out on full lock?VW Taro (hilux single cab PU) - 31" rubber, H/D springs and shackles, LSD, 4 pot front callipers, 2.4 N/A Flymo engine..

because doin so causes what is known as axle wrap, basically when i 4wd and when turning, all four wheels are trying to turnat different speeds, as there is no central diff, it basically has to drag a wheel round = lots of stress on cv joints and shafts!Originally posted by gordonthis is my 1st 4x4 why not put it in 4wd on tarmac
