Manual Transmission/Clutch Noise

Hi Brian,

Did you get this sorted? Mine has been making the idle rattle more or less since I bought it in Feb 2004. I'm selling mine, and a guy in work will take it if I get the noise sorted. He suggested thrust bearing.

I'd love to know how you got on.

Found time to remove the gearbox and flywheel. Dual Mass Flywheel knackered so converted to the 4Runner Solid Flywheel and Sprung Clutch. Seams fine on running the engine but not had chance to road test it due to lack of a current MOT. MOT being done 3pm today.
