Front Diff Breather Pipe ? Access to it ?

  • Front Diff Breather Pipe ? Access to it ?

    Hi , Just done the breather pipe on the rear diff , with no problems, went to do the front one , but without lifting th vehicle , I can not see it even , let alone change it,. any one with any advice on reaching this one .

    its in the front diff cover, to the right of the mount bracket, you should be able to see it with the bash plate removed, unless you have a underneath aircon rad, then it'll probably be a bugger to get to.

        Only way to get at it really is through the driver's side wheelarch with a torch. Take off the wheel and you should eventually be able to see and get at it that way - remove the plate for getting the oil filter out too.

            Ta 4 the pic!

            So what your saying is , take out the engine , disconnect everything , place it all on the ground ...

            Then I can get to the damn valve !
