    Can Any Body Tell Me Where This Is As Some One Has Hot Wired To Make Air Con Work With No Gas.my Model Of Surf Is A 3,0 Ssrx Ltdmany Thanks must try and find as air con engineer coming weekend to rectify the main problem.but when his done i@ve got to find high low swicth to sort out hot wire situ to return system to normal.help please

    on the 2.4 it on the cylinder mounted in front of the radiator bout the size of a beer tin, sight glass in the top. you know the one. i had just cut one off my truck if you need one. my grandparents lived on th island... is it still er.. a bit quiet..?

      ITS GETTING NOISY NOW LOOKED AT CYLINDER CAN'T SEE IT THERE IS IT IN FRONT OR ON BACK OF DRYER.

              Hi,
              Did an exhaustive search this morning after i'd changed my air con belt.
              You have to remove the glove box, and the right hand plastic box contains the evaporator, if you undo the screws holding it together you can prise it apart and the switch is right there. It's an odd place for it as most cars it's on the pipework under the bonnet.
              I didn't go the whole hog and take it fully apart, but I'm sure you can get at the wiring.
