front bumper mountings

does anybody know if there are any differeces between the mounting of the bumper on an airbag equipped truck and one that doesn't?
reason i ask is that there is a full set of front/side/rear arbs on ebay from an '04 hi lux (airbag equipped) and mine's a '96

Don't know for certain, but ARB certainly make plenty of noise regarding the suitability of a number of their bumpers for air-bag equipped models.
Anyway, I may be wrong but isn't the '04 model completely different to the '96? either way I would be wary about retrofitting air-bags where there were none before, may be a load of wiring required including chassis sensors etc, and you don't want em going off at the wrong time.
You say yours is a '96, you may want to recheck your profile which says you have a '93.

oops wifes car '96! mines still a 93.
don't want to fit air bags just want to bolt air bag compatable ARB to my non air bag chassis. truck is a jap import so is IFS, just not sure what changes were made to front of chassis when air bag were fitted by toyota
