You may find that the rubber seal on the inner side of the hub has become worn. If so its that that has let dirt in or the grease out causing the steel shaft to rub on the brass bushes. You may get away with cleaning them up or to be safe get yourself a replacement.
The bushes come out pretty easy, long screw driver or punch to knock them out, give everything a good clean, fit new bushes and greae up.
When you fit the new ones place an old one on top of it to hammer it home, saves burring the new ones.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

OK thanks, do you have the part number for the seals? Also, what is the best grease to use?

How many miles would you expect to get out of a set of bushes?

Grease I used was Castrol LM, can't find part numbers but dealer should be able to look it up. As for the miles, how longs a piece of string? if the seals stay intact then they should last for a very long time.
