hi all i wonder if there is anyone on here that can help a newbie out ? i need to locate someone that knows a fair bit about the mark 1 hilux 2wd basically my dad has brought a 1977/78 hilux camper van with a 2.0 ltr (20R) engine thats mated to a 4 speed gearbox, the clutch has burnt out damaging flywheel so looking to transplant another engine in (either more powerfull petrol or a diesel) trouble is info on what enginesfit etc. is a bit thin on the ground also need a 5 speed box for it so if anyone knows of the easiest engine/gearbox to fit this vehicle i would much value your input here hoping in anticipation cheers k.
