OMG are you serious.. ??? that's an amazing offer, really appreciated. I was going out to buy a set of ramps today, grease and so on ready for tomorrow. The truck has mot due on Monday.. so help??? that would be totally amazing! Yes please.. I can drive to Llanelli, but don't know of a place to work. Useful grease gun

If you need a greasegun then buy a quality one to start with.The cheapies are rubbish.I got a McNaught one hand operated gun but ended up with a mess the first time I used it.No grease in nipples but plenty everywhere else.The gun operates in two ways.One with cartridges and the other bulk grease where you just fill the gun.When assembled they are set up for cartridges and require the seals to be removed and replaced in the reverse direction for the gun to work properly.These also have a bleed nipple on top of gun.

Quite agree - a quality gun is best, but need not be expensive - I bought one the these Faithful one-handed mini guns when I first got the Surf 4 years ago and it's still going great.

easy to use one handed under the vehicle without having to resort to jacks or ramps, plus great advantage is I can pop it in a plastic bag and keep it in one of the rear storage compartments in the truck so its always on board. Useful for when that annoying knocking noise from dry front bump-stops starts up and scares pedestrians in the middle of town !! etc etc

Oh flip damn & blast... gonna ring you now if I can.. but this is bad.. My daughter is a photographic model and had asked me to chaperone her to a shoot in mid to north Wales.. tomorrow ~~ my eldest son got married last weekend and fried my brain.. and I completely forgot I was meant to be doing this tomorrow! Totally. totally forgot, she just phoned to remind me she is picking me up at 7am tomorrow!!

I have even been out and bought loads of bacon, eggs, sausages... oh my. I'm so sorry... but I won't be around in all day tomorrow, have to honour my promise to my daughter. bugga! but that's life huh.

Have a safe trip and hopefully we will manage to catch up another time you guys are in South Wales, the bacon butty etc., will still be on offer!

ive just been trying to grease my ball joints today, bought grease, bought nipply things, bought a grease gun. i would have thought the primary function of a grease gun was to pump grease but mine was just a messy useless lump of aluminium that didnt pump anything anywhere, and it took me about 2 hours to realise that this useless piece of crap was the reason the grease wasnt going into the damn thing.
serves me right for buying a grease gun off e-bay

i got a grease gun like that and found that the connector it come with was the wrong fit and wasn't making perfect fit, it made a nice mess.

now it all works fine £10 for the gun and £2 for the correct fitting.
