Pulled off the rear shaft today and was met by an eggcupful of t/case oil that was being held in perfectly in the little eggcup between the two flanges.
Turns out the rear nut seems a little loose, any ideas on how tight it should be??
Plan is to pull back the gearbox, get the block out and be ready for someone to magically appear with a whole nuther injun for me. Was looking at the 1st gen in the chop shop near me today and what looked like an untouched 2LT with everything still attached, but the lads there said it had seized in deep water - feck him anyway!
