Hey m8 your lucky you have a 3L and don't need to go through the wheel arch to get to the oil filter thats just for the 2.4 ers. You can easily reach yours from the top

    good luck

          Sorry,

I forgot that some of us were born knowing how to change oil - and apparently like to do so. "Fill yer boots"...and your sleeves.

            Cr@p Wrap???!!!???

Ok thanks to all help, got the oil change done piece of p when you got the right tools. As for fitting andrex soft puppy rolls to my surf,, well as was quite rightly stated i know sh!t bout cars hence "wheres me sump???" i think i will leave that sh!t (pardon the punn) till i get a bit more experience. As for changing sump plugs to this one and that one what is the point. Is it just so we dont get oil on our delicate hands or what, if you use some common sense and a quick hand then you wont get oil anywhere. Im chuffed with myself as my fist oil change ever and the only dirt i got on me was some muck on me knees.

Well done. You'll soon be caught up with the oil-changing Mensans!

Get one of these and you won't even get your knees dirty: www.wefilterit.com Nor will you need 4 litres of oil and a spin-on every 4k. Of course if you have a lot of shares in BP or too much cash or nothing else to do on weekends, go right ahead.
