When the dealer found the correct part, did the invoice come with a part number?

That rear window won't open with the key!

I still have this problem. Opening the rear window with the key is NOT working but ok from the inside electrical switch. I have checked the relays, the switches seem new. I do not hear a click when attempting to open with the key. so what can I do? extend a new cable to the switch from the relay? a bit complicated as I do not want to screw up the whole thing...
any help, advice or tips on with this is greatly appreciated

maybe the electric contacts in the rear key switch have corroded?

I had that problem and got a new switch assembly from a scrapyard
it clips over the lock assembly on inside of boot
