  • Rear window runner

Eventually got around to looking at my rear window and regreasing the cogs etc, but the two runners attached to the window are F$%*ed. Where can i get new ones? Do i have to go to Toyota or wa? Its still working but quite slowly so i want to replace the rusty ones.
    Cheers

Thanks Bitch or do i call you crazy. I really like to only use the dealer as a last resort. Hate handing over money to them unless i have to. Thanks anyway!

      Any other recommendations anyone?

          Del.

If it's not rusted through, clean off the rust with a dremmel and wet and dry and then polish them up, coat with an anti rust treatment and grease up well.

Apart from that it's the stealership I think.

          Cheers

Get the runners from Dealer - they are somewhere between 5-10 quid per runner, not that expensive. In fact i was going to have to spend more getting them from a scrappy, as they wouldnt sell them with the glass

so i got them new from dealer

Don't be so down, you'll be surprised how helpful and cheap some (SOME!) parts are from the dealers.

                Fair play to them.

Just carried out the same job. Dealer needed the 'Frame Number'.Parts were there next day.

Had more trouble getting the Bl**dy thing to stay on the glass.
