Grinding Noise

I know it's not good news, but I think I need to hear it from one of you experts out there..................
When I turn the steering wheel hard round as far as it will go, when I'm parking for example, I'm getting a grinding noise around the wheels. is it the steering column or something like that?? I'm not technical at all, just being a girlie and all that so would appreciate any advice.

As sods law always plays a huge part in my life, the 3 month dealer warranty run out about a week ago !!

I think you need to get the grease out! Its probably your steering stops

Thanks Jon, had a look on FAQs and I think I found details of the same problem as mine. **HUGE SIGH** looks like the bump stops just need greasing (fingers crossed) I best start creeping round 'the bloke' !!!!! Oh dahhhling..................... .
