hi all
i was doing a routine check up today, and filling up the tanks that needed filling up.
i suddenly found a orange colour dipstick handle, just to the side of the yellow one. as i reached to pick it up, the handle and the metal tube came with it. on closer inspection, the tube has actually broken off from the other end. now first question is, what does this belong to? it does have the word transmission od the bottom oif the dipstick, is this correct!
and will it effect the running of the car? i have looked around the area of the broken bit, and can not see oil splurted everywhere, so i assume that no oil has escaped.
and if i was to replace the part, is it expensive, or worthwhile doing?
