Front Speakers

Sure this was asked only a couple of weeks back, but can't find it!

What size speakers do you need to replace the front dash mounted ones?
Also, what're a good flavour to go for so that I don't blow 'em straight away again!

Is it a smiliar fit to doing the stereo ie...removing half of the dash again?!
Might be worth doing my speedo fascia while I've got it in bits.
