air con different problem
Spent hours reading everybody problems and haven't find this one.
vehicle is a 1994 3.0l deisel with front a/c rad and fan.
It sometimes works and others doesn't. Just had gas checked and all ok, a/c was working fine when checked and all operating pressures were perfect, top pipe on compressor freezing.
When it doesn't work (this is the strange bit) the compressor magnetic clutch and fan all run but no cold air, top compressor pipe hot.
Seems as if the flow of gas is prevented, have been looking at wiring diagram and can't see any obvious valves or switches.
Sometimes it doesn't work at all and others it works for 5/10 mins and others perfectly. Has anyone got any ideas?
