Just been to the local car bar for a new headlamp bulb. "Whats it for mate was the reply" a "a Surf I said H4, better have 6 I always have a few in stock and change 'em in pairs", "sooner you than me mate" was his reply. I thought nothing of it. On arrival at home I thought I'd better get them changed before dark, good grief have I missed something or did I really have to;
A take off the batteries and the expansion tank/washer resevoir.
B take the headlamps out.

I can't believe Toyota would do this to it's loyal customer base, not a hard job but more complicated than it needs to be!

For a proper challenge try a Renault Clio, drivers side...Surf, easy!

Or another Renault, the Megane (shake your ass style)
James Herriot and arm up a cow springs to mind.

At least with the Surf its all up top.

Don't forget to check your batteries at the same time.
With winter coming a quick top up of water may be needed

Did the batteries last weekend, but today I noticed the +terminal on the n/s was tightened up but I could pull it off easily! I wraped a handy piece of lead sheet around the terminal and re tightened sorted!
