Fog light mystery

My Surf has the regulation fog warning light hanging from the offside rear bumper, exactly like all the other Surfs of a similar age I've seen and looking very much like an original fitment. Strange thing is, I can't find a switch for it anywhere! - certainly not beside the rear window switch, where there are just two blanks/coin holders, nor anywhere on or under the dashboard.

Am I missing something?

Yes. It sounds like you're missing a fog light switch.






But in all seriousness, mine is on the dash to the right of the steering wheel just below the hard/soft suspension switch. They may not all be in the same place of course but that's where mine is.
