Xenon Upgrade

Has anyone tried to upgrade Gen 2 headlights using a Xenon type kit, is it even possible?

Upgrade the wiring for the headlights, this will practically double their output the same as buying brighter bulbs or kits.

The results are amazing.

In fact I believe it is one of the must do mods.

Can you do an upgrade with a simple run of replacement cable? If so, what gauge and from where to where? Or do you need a custom loom? Is it applicable to the 3rd gen?

I made up a loom using 2.5mm multi strand cable.
I used the original drivers side headlamp connector as the trigger point to switch the new relays.
I replaced the original connectors.
My shopping list was
2 40 Amp 12v relays
2 fuse holder
2 headlamp connectors
2.5 mm cable and spiral wrap
It took a couple of hours to do but the results are amazing, I still laugh every time I flick on high beam it is that good.
I will post some pics up later if needed, but I am sure this has been covered?

Thanks for that you blokes, of to the Bay now for a couple of spotlight kits, will buy new bulbs as well.

Sorry, wiring kits that include relays and 2.5 coloured wires, inline fuses etc, 4 kits will do it.
