I'm really sorry for this but i just cant find the answers by searching. From the amount of threads I have seen, i can tell that this has been done to death but I'm missing the information i need to proceed.
My 12v cigarette lighter has not worked since i got the car and i need it now. I have put a meter on it and the socket is dead.
As I understand it, it is likely to be the fuse wire at the back of the socket, worst case is that I put a new socket in.
How do I get the dash off to get to the back? Is there an easy way to do this without stripping the cars interior down?
