Having got some combined DRL/amber light units from ebay, I have just checked the wiring for them.
I have red +
black -
yellow turn
I was foolishly expecting the DRL aspect to dim or go off when a feed was put on the turn wire, it doesn't, instead all that happens is as the amber lights go on the white lights go out.
So what happens when the turn signal is on the white goes off and the amber comes on.Hope that makes sense. ie the white and the amber take turn in effectively flashing.
I would like the white lights to dim and the amber to flash as per the norm then at the end of the turn signal the amber is off and the white lights go to full power.
Any suggestions?
