Alternator fitting advice please-having trouble

Hi can anyone explain the order or post a pic of the alternator adjustment bolt please, I removed the alternator but could not see the order of the adjusting bolts and now can;t get it right, when i adjust it right up the belt is still slack i must have the set up wrong on the adjuster. Help please.

Thanks, I have a 1995 3.0L I found the problem was that my alternator is different to the ususal one that Rough Trax supply, but they managed to get one to match from their supplier. Many thanks Ross

Are you saying the adjuster is at the limit of travel? Sounds more like the wrong belt. Isn't the adjuster part of the mount, not part of the alternator?
