Had this problem for a while now radio works on all 4 speakers ok, when switched to CD only the front speakers worked checked balance & fader etc to no avail i have a SONY CDX-CA700 Single din unit. after playing about today i noticed a button marked AF so i pressed it & eh presto rear speakers came on with CD instruction manual had no mention of this. So im now a happy chappie BOB THE BUILDER never sounded so good ! LOL

Had The Same Problem With My Single Din Sony Unit, Front Speakers O.k. But Not Rear....pressed T.a. Button For Traffic Alert At The Back One's Came Into Life. Halfords Recon They Have The Same Problem With Land Cruisers When You Change To A Non Toyota Unit.
Marky Are You The Same Guy Who Parked Next To Me At The Shuttleworth Show.who Was Asking About This Problem.!

I've had this problem also - have you found that the aerial stays up with TA on?
Ideally I'd like it to stay down when I'm playing cds, as I don't listen to the radio that much.
Does anyone know if the remote wire from the head unit can be used to control the rear speaker amp to get round this?
