That all looks about right but you don't need to go searching for a permanent live. The door locking unit is fed by one otherwise it wouldn't work. I found the right one with a multi meter.

Unfortunately, unlike the permanent live, my 'common sense' isn't always switched on.

I couldnt find the indicator wires though.i looked for green ones and put hazards on and played with multemeter to no avail. Any clues?

I didn't wire the indicators or lights in when I did mine so I can't help there. Sorry.
